Why isn't 'The Masked Singer' on tonight, Nov. 1?

On Nov. 1, the World Series between the Texas Rangers and the Arizona Diamondbacks preempted The Masked Singer.

Last year, there was a similar situation, when the World Series between the Philadelphia Phillies and the Houston Astros also interrupted The Masked Singer.

'The Masked Singer' is scheduled to air at its regular time next Wednesday, Nov. 8.

Luckily, the latest the World Series will run is Nov. 4, so that means The Masked Singer will be back at its regularly scheduled time on Wednesday, Nov. 8.

One disgruntled viewer tweeted: "Would it really be that hard for @FOXTV to put out a message saying when The Masked Singer is going to be on? Quality channels seem capable of letting their viewers know what’s happening with scheduling."

Hey @FOXTV here is an idea maybe just maybe put all shows on hiatus until baseball season is over and you won't have so many pissed off fans of #TheMaskedSinger. You know baseball has a crazy habit of going over. So put all shows on hiatus until it's over. This sucks 2 weeks in
