South West Four (SW4) festival is fast approaching, and there is a whole host of acts across several different music genres to see. Before the big festival takes place, we at CelebMix picked the five acts headlining on the Saturday (24 August) who we think you should take the chance to see perform:
Martin Garrix
This Dutch DJ is a festival favourite, and has performed at renowned festivals such as Coachella, Tomorrowland and Creamfields. This past year has been pretty big for the 23-year-old – he released his fourth studio album, “BYLAW”, in 2018, and has had chart hits with “Ocean” (featuring Khalid) and “Summer Days” (featuring Macklemore and Patrick Stump). With his music spanning across many genres from progressive house to electro house to Dutch house, he will definitely get the crowd jumping.
Craig David

The British R&B superstar that is Craig David benefited from a massive comeback a few years ago – in 2018, the singer released his seventh studio album, “The Time Is Now”, featuring hit single “I Know You” (featuring Bastille). He was also a dominant force in the UK Garage scene in the early 2000’s, and was known for his singles “Re-Rewind (The Crowd Say Bo Selecta)” with Artful Dodger, and his debut solo single, “Fill Me In”, taken from his recording breaking debut studio album, “Born To Do It”. He is no stranger to SW4 – having played the festival in 2018. With his blend of uptempo garage and R&B tunes, Craig is sure to be a crowd pleaser.
Tinie Tempah
This British rapper is known for hits such as “Pass Out” (featuring Labrinth), “Written in the Stars” (featuring Eric Turner) and “Not Letting Go” (featuring Jess Glynne), and has received rave reviews for his performances at festivals such as V, Wireless and T in the Park. We think “Pass Out” is a festival staple, and with Tinie’s slick fusion of grime beats with electronic and drum and bass sounds, it makes for the perfect festival soundtrack.

Sigma
This British drum and bass DJ duo are literally the definition of good festival music. Over the past few years, they have achieved massive success with hits such as “Nobody To Love” and “Changing” (featuring Paloma Faith) and this year, they released a remake of the classic R&B hit “Dilemma” (by Nelly and Kelly Rowland). The duo previously performed at the festival in 2015, 2017 and 2018 – so it’s safe to say they are a crowd favourite!
Jax Jones & Martin Solveig

Jax Jones has made a name for himself in the house scene over the past few years – the 32-year-old British DJ is gearing up to release his debut studio album, “Snacks (Supersize)” in September, following on from the success of singles such as “You Don’t Know Me” (featuring Raye), “Instruction” (featuring Demi Lovato and Stefflon Don) and “Breathe” (featuring Ina Wroldsen). Meanwhile, Martin has been a force in the music industry since the release of his debut album in 2002, and in recent years the French DJ has had dance hits with songs including “Hello” (with Dragonette) and “Intoxicated” (with GTA). This year, both Jax and Martin teamed up under the stage name Europa to release “All Day and Night” (featuring Madison Beer) – which has proven to be a big hit, peaking at #10 on the UK Singles Chart. Both DJs previously performed at SW4 separately in 2018, and now, it looks as if they are teaming up together.
South West Four (SW4) Festival will take place on August 24 and August 25 in Clapham Common, south London. Unfortunately tickets for this year’s festival have nearly sold out, but if you want to find out more information, and to see the lineup in full, click here.
